The world Abby thought he knew was only half the story.
Imagine discovering a society where success isn't earned through wealth or influence, but inherited through your bloodline. Families rise and fall based on the abilities passed from one generation to the next, and every birth has the power to reshape the balance of power.
In this hidden world, every family carries a legacy known as a Suite. Some inherit extraordinary abilities. Others inherit impossible burdens. Before your first breath, your future may already be decided.
The rain has fallen for longer than anyone can remember. To the people of Spate, that's simply life. Few stop to ask why it never ends. Fewer are prepared for the answer.
Abby believed there was only one world to understand. He was wrong. Some places have remained hidden for centuries. Others have been watching from the shadows all along.
"Some mysteries are hidden for a reason.
Others are hidden because someone is willing to kill to keep them that way."
Follow the progress of the Terrible Darkness universe.
